Why it is up for Asian nations to begin to stand against Russian invasion of Ukraine - if these nations even want to have a deal toward Iranian and Chinese expansionisms?

Image
When Putin launched his brutal armed invasion of Ukraine, Putin's Russia has severely broken the old structure of security order. Putin has even warned to conquer and destroy Ukraine, as well as showing eagerness to rebuild the lost Tsarist/Soviet Empire. A number of nations have openly condemned Russia, imposing economic and political sanctions, including cutting off Russia's main source of survival - oil and gas ( which was done by President Joe Biden ). Still, Putin appears not being deterred by sanctions, as the Russian dictator has vowed to raze the whole Ukraine to dust to reconstitute his new empire, including his recent brutal bombarding tactics on civilian infrastructures. Yet despite widespread condemnation against Russia by many nations, so far, countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America have been reluctant to join the band. In here, we will talk about Asia, as the detail means for - and why standing against Putin's Russia is vital for their survival. A big cont...

For Iran and China, the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification is far more political than just football

Image
2022 FIFA World Cup qualification in Asia is only a few weeks away before the final showdown. Out of 47 Asian states, only the last 12 nations will be there. Yet, the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification may be even more to see, not just because of football, but also outside elements. These issues are more relevant in two nations, which, ironically, have to play in two different yet familiar groups: Iran and China. With the announcement of Iran in group A and, earlier, China in group B, of the last phase of qualification, it would have been fine for someone who doesn't pay attention to football, or soccer if you are North Americans. Yet the draws have put Iran and China into two trajectory groups that will, instead, unite them with their increasingly heated enemies of the past. This made the sentiment increasingly uneasy yet necessary to speak out. Iran We start with group A, where Iran, the second-highest ranked team in Asia, will battle South Korea, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and...

Why American recognition of Armenian Genocide can be a threat for Georgia?

Image
The United States officially recognised the Armenian Genocide in 2019, when Congress issued state recognition of the mass atrocities against Armenians by the Ottoman Empire in World War I. The effort was rebuffed by then-President Donald Trump, who has a harmonious relationship with Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan, but when Trump lost in the 2020 election, Joe Biden officially broke out from the predecessors and finally stated the same on April 24, 2021. Armenians are certainly happy, while Turkish and Azerbaijani nationalists are definitely dissatisfied with what they just saw. Unfortunately for the United States, the recognition could be a reckless move, since the recognition may have also unravelled how the alliance between the West to Turkey is moving spiral backwards. And this can be even more menacing for Washington D.C. because their recognition of the genocide might leave Turkey to project its ambitions independently and clashing with even NATO, EU and in general Western world, leave alon...

A Sino-Russian axis is emerging. But it needs allies to foment its ambitions

Image
The alliance between Russia and China has emerged radically since the end of the Cold War. China, now a wealthier, more powerful and economically more prosperous, allying with slowly diversifying and less reliant on Western investors Russia, partly contributed by the increasing antipathy against the West in both nations. The two big nations are cooperating on many fronts, and China is the only country to not give a damn about sanctions the West imposed on Russia and recently, China, over human rights abuse, military aggression and its political infiltration. Yet Russia and China alone can't make them possible to overcome tough opponents. The United States has already built a vast network of allies in Europe and is also making one in Asia in a rapid process. Thus, any potential confrontation right now could bring huge risks to both Beijing and Moscow, so trying to provoke and challenge the response of America and its partners in the current play tool is being used by both governme...

Chinese regime's reaction in Myanmar's protest is not a surprise. It's a reflection of a greater paranoia of the dictatorship

Image
In the mid of March 2021, more than thirty Chinese factories were set ablaze by unknown assailants. Shortly aftermath, the Chinese government and its embassy in Myanmar condemned the arson attacks, accusing the perpetrators of being "instigated by the West". The condemnation possibly drew into the protesters, who are actively fighting against the junta since the 1 February coup. In the end, it was mocked by many Burmese online users for its hypocrisy. Yet, the reaction of China is nothing surprising. In fact, it is revealing the true paranoia of a totalitarian regime. China, now the world's most powerful dictatorship, is facing an unwanted challenge in Myanmar. Despite its attempts to whitewash history, the protest in Myanmar makes me questioning back what is China behaving, for certain. This is definitely not the only moment we see China's grotesque propaganda methods, it also helps us to see the maniac level of the Chinese regime: a regime that is paranoid of everyt...
